About OCS Children’s Fund:

Chinese Overseas Students Children’s Fund (OCSCF) was established in 2007, with an
elite volunteer network joined by more than 1,000 top-ranked university students
from all around the world. We established branches in many top universities such
as Cambridge University, Oxford University, and London School of Economics. In
2010, we launched our first North America branch at Cornell University, and we aim
to expand our North America coverage to rest of Ivy League Institutions as well as
top colleges on the west coast in the near future. The primary agenda of OCSCF is
to increase charitable awareness among college students around the world, and
to bridge the gap between these elite students and the under-privileged young
generation in rural areas of China. In the past, we have successfully organized a
series of charity events, ranging from volunteering trips to local schools in the
Sichuan-Tibet area, Charitable auctions, and deliver educational materials to the
target schools regularly. Most importantly, we are devoted to find innovative and
effective ways to advocate for the imbalanced social status in China and help the
underprivileged population.

About Rhythm of Life:

Rhythm of Life Charity Concert is our sincerest devotion. We would like to spread
love, beauty and hope all around through the celestial voices that dispel the dark
and illuminate the front. When the melody gently touches your heart and light your
soul on the cold winter day, are you willing to lend a helping hand and warm the
little longing hearts? We may never experience the pain and frustration of poverty,
but we can feel the bliss of supporting each other.

The Rhythm of Life Charity Concert is the flagship annual fund-raising event organized
by OCSCF in all of our university branches globally. This is our first of many concerts
in the US and in Cornell University. The concert is aimed to increase charitable
awareness among university students in the US and raise fund for the poor and
underprivileged in remote areas in China under the good names of the OCSCF.

We are expecting no less than 200 people with compassion from the Cornell and
Ithaca community to join us at the night of the concert. And we have prepared a
wide variety of classical music performance for you, from one of the Julliard's finest
pianist to the hottest singing groups and ensembles in Cornell, it is the ultimate
music feast that you need in this freezing Spring
